The Engine House is home to over 60 businesses and many in the creative industry, for this weeks featured member of The Engine House we are all about architecture.
Many of us, either for work or simply getting some work done on our own homes have had to use a local architect to create our perfect home. Up until recently 2D drawings in architecture would be difficult to visualise your final build.
Bluelime are a perfect example of utilizing the latest technology to create seamless buildings that blend in with any existing properties and surroundings, not some crazy architectural feature that will never get passed planning.
Bluelime are now looking to introduce 3D scanning and VR technology into their projects, this involves setting up a tripod scanner that will use thousands of LED laser beams to scan the entire property and translate the point data into the drawings used for their plans. I had the pleasure of being invited to test the VR experience and I must say the experience was unreal! The level of detail was unprecedented and I instantly understood why they decided to add this to their clients.
