Magenta Flowers Update

Hi,

We are writing to update you on the ongoing situation with the sudden closure of Magenta Flowers. For over 15 months The Engine House has been committed to recovering most of the stored flowers from orders that were not completed or retrieved due to the closure.

We understand the emotional and sentimental value attached to many of these orders, which is why we have made this recovery operation a top priority. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that as many items as possible could be returned to their rightful owners, fully recognising the sensitive nature of these orders.

However, this extensive recovery effort has come with significant financial implications for The Engine House. Despite our best efforts, we have reached a point where the recovery of additional items has significantly slowed, and recent assessments indicate that the remaining unclaimed items have, unfortunately, deteriorated beyond repair due to their prolonged storage.

With a heavy heart, we have made the difficult decision to set an end date for the recovery process. This deadline is set for the 15th of March 2024. Beyond this date, we will have no choice but to permanently dispose of any remaining items.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or distress this may cause and want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. Should you have any concerns or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. We thank you for your understanding and continued support during these challenging times.
